"T's" log

Post  thorstenmoser on Mon Dec 29, 2008 8:25 pm

Okidoki.

I decided to post my training here more frequently.

Sorry for any "misspelling" - my english isnt that perfect guys - sorry!

In case it hurts too much, pls let me know!!!

Here is my todays gym training after I left my formerly gym because the owner decide to "kick me out".

I did some heavy DLs 2 days ago and the weight was not left down to the ground silently and because of that he decided to kick me off Embarassed

Today I vistited another gym....this one really sucks....machines who runs with oil and hydraulics and not with weights and / or plates!

I drank out my coffee, ran out and drove to another one in my area.

My first thinking was "hmmm" - looks like a cardio hell, but behind the cardio area i found everything i looked for the last years - professional stuff! Dumbbells up to 80 kilograms! Squat Racks! Bench presses which are #1, really good stuff.

So i decided to "dress up" and check out the gym Wink

I started w// CHEST --> benchpress.

"Speedbench" with 70 Kg - 8 sets with different grip wide - 4 reps each set (SPEEED)

Dips ( 6 sets each with +20 K - 8 to 12 reps)

Triceps:

Tricep JM Press 3 sets - each 10 reps
Short triceps press 2 sets - each 15 reps

Shoulders:

Bent over Deltoid Rear - 2 sets each 15 reps
Dumbbell Front Raise - 2 sets each 10 reps
Dumbbell side raise - 2 sets each 8 reps
HEAVY Dumbbell SHRUGS (60 K db's) - 4 sets each 6 reps

After that i drank a gallon of protein and signed the contract Wink

More to come from time to time.

Goals for 2K9 are Benchpress increases and comps / Highland Games / Top 5 at world famous Jim Wylie's eat contest plus Dinnie Stone Trainer 150 Kg lefty / 170 Kg righty and Strict Curl 70K
!!!!

Let 2009 come guys, let it come!!!

afro

Cheers

---T

hehe, of course Very Happy

Today only some light cardio because I must have an watchful eye on my bodyweight.

I want to start in the Open Classs -82.5 Kg this year. Also the cardio can be helpful for the Highland Games.

Today's training:

15 minutes bike
20 minutes running

Cardio is useful for all sports really. There are so many ways to train your heart and lungs now, people don't need to just run endlessly or go on a stationary cycle. Check youtube for the endless workouts that are cardio/strength endurance based.

Oh, I thought to train the lungs with Marlboro?! Twisted Evil

I agree David, I train from time to time an intervall system.

This reduces the training time and also it brings RESULTS!

1 minute sprint, 2 minutes walk, 30 seconds sprint, 3 minutes slow running and then again a 30 second sprint, followed by 2 minutes running and 5 mins walking - DONE.....same for the bike.

It hurts but from time to time its good to do it!

Thanks
