Saturdays workout:

Because of my injured finger only 10 mins treadmill; 5 sets seated benchpress machine; 5 sets biceps curl machine and 3 sets lightweight shoulder machine, finished w// 15 mins bike. Better than nothing, right?!

Today only 15 mins running, now a shower and then I must drive to the airport, again in Switzerland Geneva this week.
I am unsure if I can do some training there then.

See you all end of the week.

Cheers

Hi there

So sorry that i hadnt had the time to post into the log.

Training with the injured finger is going better and better.

Did a lot of leg work and some heavy curls up to 70 Kg.
My plan is to prepare for the German Cheating Curl Champs in Berlin later this year.
Would be nice to have all German "Curl titles" in my hands..

I also put the Dinnie Stones Trainer into my workout, i am up to 150 Kg so far without training.
I hope my back can manage that in the future Very Happy

We will see.

Next week some gym training, and also some Farmers walk / Stone put and weight for distance / weight for high training - next Highland Games are on August 23 in South Germany.

Events will be:

    Tree Trunk Slalom
    Tug o´ war
    Farmer´s walk
    Throwing the hammer
    Weight for distance
    Weight for high
    Tossing the cabor

Cheers and have fun!

Thank you very much for your reply David; and sorry for the pause in my log.

I was on vacation for a week, but I wasnt 100% off training.

We (my 2 boys, my wife and I) spend a week on one of Germany's beautiful islands --> Fehmarn.

I was able to lift some nice and famous stones....famous when we talk with the islander there.

The first one was a pretty easy one, the "Dodelstein" / Dodelstone.

The Dodelstone was in history the landmark of a terrain, the stones self have a very nice engraving.

You can see the biggest one on the island beside me. This one is HUGE!

His small brother weights approximately 70 - 80 Kg, not more,
I am unable to give an estimate whats the weigth of the huge historian stone is.

The second stone I lift was the "Fehmarnsund - Stone". HEAVY HEAVY BEAST!

It took a while to bring it into a lifting position because it was half in the sand and on top of this he was very unhandy because of his shape.

I guess this one has 110 Kg; but maybe I am wrong because this one was really unhandy and this could be the reason that my estimate is wrong.

It was definitely the heaviest stone on the island I tried, and also the heaviest one I ever lifted succesfully!

Beside lifting stones (Wink) we had a looots of fun (and sun), we drove trike, quads, catched some really nice codfishes and flatfishes from the beach, spend some time on a medieval market (oh damned, I cant remember....so many beers), we visited the Jimi Hendrix memorial stone (Jimi gave his last concert on Fehmarn); we watched a reptilian exhibition (spiders, snakes, scorpions etc.) - long story short, it was a fantastic vacation!

Now we are back, preparing for Monday, kids must go to school and daddy's holidays are over too now.

Back in training on Monday then, Sunday is rest!

Plan for Monday is to do some heavy Cheating Curls, Bench and DLs! Maybe the Dinnie Rings, not sure right now.

Enjoy the sun (in case you have sun.....UK weather and so.....) Smile

Take care and enjoy the weekend

Cheers

Thank you for your reply Richard!

Very kind.

From a training perspective I started with Creatine 2 weeks ago, works fine so far, added 2.5 Kg BW and getting stronger and stronger.

That was the goal Very Happy

I already tried Creatine 2times before but stopped every time after 2 or 3 days because I had stomach problems - this time no problems and all seems fine!

Yesterday no training; today Curls, Shoulders and Back. Maybe some Calves.

Long time no post.

Still alive and still in training, no worries Very Happy

I cancelled my start at the German Cheating Curl Champs because I was the only one in my weight class and because of that I decided not to start.

My trainings focuss is more on stone lifting and Highland Games right now and I decided to drive to Denmark tomorrow.

I heard they have some nice boulders there waiting.....

Enjoy the weekend guys.

Cheers
