Its a great book and great read.Since receiving the book there seems to be alot more weights related stuff on Ebay,co incidence probably or maybe Im just more aware of what it is because of the book.

Hi David,
Read the book this weekend and when I put it down at least 6 other guys asked to read it as well. It got passed around the pool area with everyone asking me questions about this and that to do with weights and history. Brilliantly researched as always and a joy to read. A must for anyone who's tools are weights and barbells.

I remember the yellow Devils coming ouy in the 80's. I very nearly bought a set but stuck to the good old Body Sculpture. Their sets came with a very camp looking bloke in dodgy trunks and a mullet demonstrating the exercises.

Lol,
I still have my Body Sculpture booklet that came with my site. Yes very camp now, but in the 80s anything went - lol

Recieved mine today David. Many Thanks!
I'm a third of the through it. I wasnt expecting to relate to any of the older plates but suprisingly and coincidentally it brought back a distant memory of owning 15kg worth of metalic blue Body Sculpture weights that made up my very first proper dumbbell (which I later sold and forgot about) which was sold to me by a friend of a friend who acquired them from our school gym without persimission many moons ago.
The old ads are fascinating!
Good work. I look foward to reading the rest!

Great news!
Glad you're enjoying it. I have used and read my copy a lot since writing it. In fact I have two copies, and the first is for notes.
