Best workout ever!
The wall in the drive in front of where we live was loose and could've easily fallen on a child so I informed our landlord, he seemed unaware of how dangerous this was so I offered to do it (having recently acquired the wooden handle for the sledge hammer i had found and thinking it would be easy).
This was the best workout of my life, the wall fell over easily but just would not break, partly due to my seldge hammer coming loose and also because it was SOLID.
Ended up using my 32kg kettlebell as a wrecking ball. 3 hours of swings into the bricks and a few cleans (then letting the kb fall) later and most of the wall was broken, into big chunks.
The next day I used the big pebbled stone that sat on the wall. This thing must have weighed abt 30kilos and had no easy handle. Used this to smash the bricks and finally finished last night.
I spent about 3-4 hours for two days and each night i have been aching in muscles that never feel worked from using kettlebells and bars.
Saved the big stone, going to use it for presses and walks on days that I go out to do chinups.
Going to try and do more stone training and swings, been trying to get good form with a 16kg kb recently, can't wait to move onto some serious weight.
Also, anyone know how to fit a handle to a sledge? the guy at the shop told me how easy it would be, but he was wrong.
p.s I know i may seem stupid to have agreed to demolish the wall seeing as im no professional, but rather me do it now then it fall on someone.
