I miss the old days when I used to get banned on a regular basis at the GB and then get reinstated and made a Mod! Old Piche and his cronies worry too much about the sponsors for some reason.

Apparently it's a two for one offer. I can't log onto Ironhistory either.

What the hell did you do Steve? Nobody has ben a bigger part of the GB than you have over the years.

In my early work years I use to work as an industrial cook, one year there was a major reshuffle of crew some having to get the arse or be relocated, there was a particular cook who had been there for years who knew his job inside and out and was basically an expert in what he did, for one political reason or another he was asked to relocate, he refused so was sacked. I asked the boss why the hell would he sack the most knowledgeable person we had, his reply was simple...you dont make a succesful business by making any one individual irreplacable, the fact is everyone can be replaced and thats how you run a business that requires many people to keep the cogs in motion.

I think its similar to whats going on here, no matter how important a person is in the grip world, if they get banned from the GB, the owners know it will continue, with a few bumps and coughs for a little while, but it all smooths out over the long period...then again thats how a revolution starts...the coughs and bumps turn into a epidemic disease and then someone else starts their own forum

OG: see above LOL. I used an 'f-bomb' in a log an then after a gentle telling off by Zcor the mighty took it upon myself to use 'zcor' in it's place. I thought this was mucho funny but he did not. No doubt over reaching himself by reading my comments here ON ANOTHER FORUM he stretched my ban from a 3 day one to a 7 day one.

One of the lads here was given a LIFETIME BAN for revealing the contents of a PM. Said rule was recently added to the GB list. The reason? It's 'private and personal' info.

Nobody is more important than a Gripboard Mod. The responsibilty and power are staggering.

10 days now for 'effing' as this is an f-bomb. The new board software through the mod as I had to PM to point out that he'd banned me, by accident, for 10 hours not 10 days. Cest la vie.

Has the Gripboard been updated yet as Iron History was ? I cant get on at all now it just wont load, i just end up with a blank screen
