Yep that was the thing.

BillHays wrote:Just guessing but I'd imagine the one thing would be to add a set screw or what might be called a locking screw/nut to the side of them (looking sort of like a weight collar with grip flanges)... so it doesn't rotate with an unsquare grip. I thought about that as well, although a couple at the school do have them... I was just to lazy to put them on my own pinchers!

I'll keep you posted.

I think a pair of these put on a vulcan would be perfect! Just take off the main spring if its too hard and add some rubber bands. David, possibly you could have a weaker spring that we could buy for the vulcan that would pair well with this pinch set up? Hopefully you will have them before Christmas as I will be ordering the orbigrip for christmas and a set of these would be a great add-on!

I will have the prototype this week, all spray painted up, with locking nuts on each one, so that you can fix it to any gripper you are using, and so it won't move.

These are a great invention by Bill Hays, and he will credited with this.

These should be a nice little stocking filler for Christmas, so if anyone wants these before they are on the site please tell me and I can work your postage cost out. The cost will be £15 for the pair.

Can't wait to see the results. Maybe you could offer a special promotion, Buy a vulcan, get a pair of these free Razz

Props to Bill for creating these Smile

When they're done, I'll take three sets and probably another Vulcan.
Two more sets and another Vulcan for the School, and one set to put up for my son, for when he's old enough to use them!
