Re: Pullover & Press, IAWA-style
I love the pullover & press. Started training it last week. Tried 165 lb, and it went very fast and smooth. Short term goal is 200 lb

Very nice Mats! Sounds like you're getting the hang of it faster than I have so far. I bet you'll smash through 200lbs in no time flat.

202lb Pullover & Press
Broke the 200lb barrier for the first time tonight! This was my first pullover and press workout since my 198lb lift.
Weighed about 219lbs today. Let myself fatten up a fit lately, haha. My 16kg kettlebell should be here tomorrow and I expect it to change the way I look at workouts.

You ought to go ahead and smoke right through 200lbs Mats. I know you can do it man! You were probably just being courteous by not kicking my butt in the thread I started.

hahaha thanks man
Well done on the 200lb!!
EDIT; I did 95 kg (209lb) today, but the press was very slow. Have to work on that. I'm a newbie presser with 95 kg as a PR. Still happy though.

205lb Pullover & Press
I haven't been busy enough on this lift. Been spending most of my time writing and doing a few other general life things. I think I'm on track to hit 220lbs at the contest in mid-June though. This was an UGLY lift.

Ben,
That was so slow, it was like a reverse Reverse Curl. Anyway cool to hear you are writing, I'm nearing the end of my new book. What are you writing about?

Haha, I sure didn't mean it to be so damn slow. I didn't even realize how agonizingly slow it was until I watched the video. Jeez. I didn't know you were writing a book either David. Very cool! I've actually been writing for a few years (mostly online content producer) but have been working on a book project for about 9 months but have let it slip the past few due to some other work and home stuff. It's about office fitness.

Well all the best with your book. Advertise it here if you want when it's done.
I'm nearing the end of my book - phew!
Then I have another to do after!

Were your arms fully stretched out on that one? Didn't look like it, but maybe the video is "lying"
