Re: Deadlift question
'Back' on track now, had a bit of a dalliance with the trap bar, which I liked, then a bit of time off due to injuring my upper back. I'm currently going with Nick's suggestion of 10 singles on the minute, which is good as it is conducive to full concentration on each rep.
If I may pose another question, do you actively try to retract the shoulders when pulling, or just allow them to hang forward?
In the unlikely event I remember to take a camera with me, I'm going to see if I can get someone to video me tomorrow.

Re: Deadlift question
Managed to shoot a video on Friday, think this was the 3rd of 8 singles. Nobody else was in the gym so just had to prop the camera on a weight stack, angle is not too bad but not ideal. I'd appreciate any comments / suggestions on form anyway.
