Thick Rope Trainer for Sale
I had enough spare materials left over from an old project to put together a (just the one!) thick rope trainer, pictured below. It's ugly but functional and this one has never been used. My old one has had me hanging off it for a couple of years now. I can't give you any SWL or weight recommendations other than using a bit of common sense. I've had 200kg hanging off my old rope (me, the wife and some plates) for a short while and all was fine.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CARABINER PICTURED IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT INCLUDED.
Construction: Manilla rope, 1.5" in diameter, approx 32" in length. Steel collar secured to rope and D shackle using bolts & Nylocks. Heavy duty, adhesive lined black heatshrink is used at both ends to finish it off.
£12 to cover materials (that heat shrink was expensive)
£6 First class recorded delivery (sorry, but only shipping in the UK)
I'm offering it here first to you guys before putting it on eBay.
Any questions, drop me a PM.

I give these Rope Trainers my personal endortsement, I have two, both of which are manufactured by wee Al and they are as good as any being manufactured Stateside. I Highly recommend them to all Grip and Strength Athletes.
Yours in strength

Awesome rope Al - thanks so much - we've been using it for loads of things - particularly hold-outs with 20kg on loading pin, and clean and press with same for as many reps as possible...
My mate Barry likes the smell of the treatment on the manila, and sniffs it everytime we train... we do worry about him!
