No, I don't cock my wrist. I can't for the most part. If I try, it straightens during the lift and it really hurts my wrist. Good workout tonight!

* 32kg x10
* 48 x2 singles
* 59 x1 easy
* 66 x0, x3/4 lift, x1 assisted
* 59, assist and hold, x2
* 54 x15, had to take a few rests with the right, had to assist many on the left.
* BLOB50, 2 hand lifts x5
* Rolling Thunder 48 x15
* Pony thumbs x3
* Kitty litter

This was a great workout. My hands were F-R-I-E-D. I included doing kitty litter because my hands were tired enough that it was a taxing chore. cat

Nice, quite a bit of volume there, bet you're feeling that in the forearms today? I had a bit of an ache from Wednesday and only did two sets.

WOODSY!? WHERE ARE YOU WOODSY Question

This is feeling good and tonight I had a noticable gain while doing reps.

* 32kg x10
* 48 x3
* 59 x1
* 64 x0, x1 assisted it just enough to get it moving, x1 assisted as before
* 55 x15, made it through on the right! Left was split 10/rest/5.
* Pony thumbs x3

I was really happy to get the 15 reps righty at least. This definitely felt stronger than last time. 64 felt better too, but I was not able to get a full lift. The first attempt I did hover about 6" so I feel good about that.

Yes I also think it's weird that I can lift 55kg for 15 reps and can get 64 for 1 rep!

Had a go today and it wasn't pretty:

RT: 50kg x7,3 RH, 10,5 LH

Will hopefully be training it every week for while now.
You back on it after your MM1 attempt Matt?

Hey, there's no shame in a workout well done!

I will be back on this as well! I plan on going again tomorrow. Yeah, I was avoiding anything that might mess with my cert, but now it's business as usual.

It's on!

Last night I did what ended up being a light RT workout. My left elbow was really bothering me so I didn't want to push anything.

* 32kg x5
* 48kg x3 singles
* 57kg x2 singes
* 62kg x1

Strength felt pretty good. I put ice on my elbow for about an hour and it really feels better today. It was a weird strained feeling.

Not bad for a light workout, considering 62.5 was your max at the start.
Thick bar can be tough on the elbows sometimes, hope it's ok.

Yeah, I noticed that after the fact too. When I pulled 62kg during the workout, I had no idea it was right there near my previous max. It came up pretty easily. I got it with both hands as well.

We made some veggie gardens in our yard that day and it was a lot of pulling up sod and digging. I think that is what aggrivated my elbow to start.

What are you growing?
I've just harvested a bumper crop of taters and wondering whether to branch out into something more adventurous.

Nothing yet Laughing

Our growing season is like 30 minutes long in Minnesnowta. We'll have our first frost probably in the next 4 weeks. This year we just wanted to get the raised beds made and we're composting right in the beds. Next year we'll plant tomatoes, beans, and whatever else will grow in a cold weather climate.

Yes I was wondering what would grow under 6' of snow Razz
I love it when it snows, seems to be getting rarer over here these days, we did have a very cold spell last winter though.

Why the hell did I suggest a RT challenge when I hate the bastard thing so much Evil or Very Mad

RT: 5x20, 5x40, 1x50, 1x55, 0x60, 1x60*, 5x50, 10x45
*First attempt didn't even budge Mad so did one with a band deload to see how it would feel.
Guess I'm a bit off from grippers and deadlifts yesterday

Rolling Thunder felt great tonight; better than ever in fact. I went through my blog and realized I tied both my single rep PR and my 15 reps PR tonight!

32kg x5
50 x2 singles
59 x1, easy
64 x0, x1. The miss was a 3/4 pull. Tied my PR.
65 x0, hovered!
55 x15, made it on the right, had to assist 7 on the left. Yikes. Tied my PR righty.
Pony Thumbs x3, thumbs are torched!

65kg is probably not too far away! Twisted Evil

Nice, you're kicking my arse so far. I need to try it when I'm a bit fresher, did grippers and 2" DB rows today, and I'll be RT-ing tommorow after DO deadlifts. The phrase pissing against the wind come to mind Laughing
