I am now finally a full time Phys Ed Teacher. Its been 2 years of various part time, coaching and substitute work since I have graduated, making very little money and working long hours. I am now making the "big bucks", (big to me) and will be working very nice hours. Now to just have a big PR day on my first day of work Monday! Thanks for all the well wishes!

Congrats Jeff, sounds like a great job. Smash the PRs on Monday. Good news like this always gives you some serious motivation!

Thanks for the congrats guys!
First week was exhausting. Tried a grip workout once and it was no good. Yesterday was pretty good though.
B/H 3x10, 6x10, 9x3
R/H 12x4, 15x0 SOOO CLOSE, 15x0 very close
L/H 12x1, 13x0close

About 20 sets of doubles triples,x5,x10,x12 with my filed 1 and 2 and 2.5 High Volume. Doing lots of contrast baths and I expect to close 15 right and 13 left solidly later in the week.

Jump on in Glen!
I have not had access to the internet at home for a bit so I missed a posting or two. Its back on and I am doing a gripper workout right now. Just had an easy close with my #3, so its a quick rest and on to a lvl 15 attempt.

ALRIGHT!
Got a lvl 15 close right handed and a 13 left handed. Tried to get the 15 on video but I just had 2 narrow misses. Next session I should have a video to get my name up the list.
Warmed up with torsin grippers today, closes with 1,2,2.5 and 3 for right.

R/H 15x1, 15x0, 15x0, 10x12parallel repsPR!
L/H 13x1, 13x0, 13x0, 12x3, 10x8parallel repsPR!

Easy day today as I am going to hit pinch, crusher and sledge hard tomorow.

Thanks David, Sam.

Todays workout was trying to get lvl 15 on video. I got several videos but all were to dark to tell if the gripper was shut. Did maybe 6 attempts at 15 right and 13 left. Got most of the attempts right and left maybe 2 were closed. Also got 4 mini reps on my #3. Did some pinch, got 180 2hp pr for me. Battling sickness right now, been to the docs twice so I am just happy to not be losing strength.

Thanks Hugo!
Just found out that grippers event for Gripmas will be grippers in chokers. This is bad news for me as I suck at chokers! I will be concentrating on getting better at them for most of my gripper workouts.
Vulcan with choker:
B/H: 3x2,6x2,9x2,12x2,13x1x3
Went to coc 2 for left and 2.5 for right. 16 closes in about 20 minutes.

no vulcan today, just working on form with torsin in chokers.
warmed up kinda all over the place.
Tried to crush my 2.5 and was very close but could not close it. Tried 3 times and got close every time but still no close. I was very dissapointed because the 2.5 should be easy. Then I looked at the handles and it was my 3.5!! Took it out of the choker and almost mms set closed it.
Got in 10 solid chokered closes with my 3 with my right hand, same with the 2.5 (the real one this time) in my left. Almost choker closed my 3 with my left twice.
choker closes have gotten a lot better, it seemed I just needed some practice.

closed lvl 15 right and 13 left again. Took a video for the lvl 15 right and the set was not shown at all. I do a lot better when my wife can video for me, Ive been trying to do it on my own with the camera on the table.
Choked to parallel
R/H. 2.5x1, 3x1x2, 3.5x1x2 with 6 second hold at end! HUGE PR!! RB365Nx0. This thing is a beast! A few negatives with this as well.
L/H 2.5x1, 3x0x3, very close attempts. 2.5x1x3. negatives with 3
My camera batteries died before I could film the 3.5 choker close. Bummer. best gripper session i had in a while. Now I am off to challenege John Beattys 25lb plate hula record of 63 revolutions!

Got it!
65 revolutions. Will have video up later. I'm sure someone can beat this, but as of now no one has.
