sorry for late reply - I have been away for a few days.

Mark, thanks. quite enjoying the new exercise. I was going to take part in your 1hand overhead press but
the same event was just dropped for the comp I was training for.

I was at a single with 40kg with a 2.5" handle. Although, i was bending over a bit to give me a better leaverage. Not really very upright and strict.

David, I posted 10x40kg with my left a few posts ago.

Well done James, and back into the lead.

The difference between arms is similar to mine.

I reckon I can fill in a few blanks as Tony is a some-time training partner of mine.
...but I will let Tony speak for himself.

I saw him on Sunday and the cheeky bugger never mentioned he was joining the forum.
This will make it harder for me to inflate my numbers in this challenge! lol!

Thanks David
I was a powerlifter, but after 12 months of subtle work James convinced me that the world of strongman was the way to go, and as part of that, I've also started mucking around with some grip stuff, mainly pinching.

I saw him on Sunday and the cheeky bugger never mentioned he was involved in a one-bench challange affraid

Cool.
Well have fun with this exercise, and keep us posted here, and every so often I put the updated scores on the single, and 10 rep Challenge.

Do you need a handicap or are you cool to start off the same as Mark and I?

Hi all

Trained with James tonight, once he stopped talking Laughing

After warming up :-

50 x 4
55 x 4
60 x 4
65 x 4

On both right and left arms

Balance not quite right, hoping to improve over next few weeks.

No need for an additional handicap, as I already train with James.
Laughing
