Re: Fancy a challenge?
Let's start without a handicap.
First off all I still need to improve on technique, that will improve on weight as well.
Second, I'm no rep guy. I'm sure if I'll do singles and doubles I'll do much better
We'll see how it goes !

James,
I think something like a 15k handicap start from Mark Vogels and I will work fine for you?
Tell me what you think, and I'll set it up in a new thread

Re: Fancy a challenge?
Sure, sounds fine. I have never taken part in an online challenge so I will let you guys guide me and we can adjust things as and when required.
I will get some footage next time we can agree if I am doing it correctly. I am probably not as 'elbows out'
as the video you posted.

Re: Fancy a challenge?
James,
It's just fun, and a bit of a push for us all.
Let your elbows go where they want to.
As I said above, bring the dumbell rod down to roughly chest depth, and press. Keep your ass on the Bench - straight forward really.
I'll start a new thread for this.
Welcome aboard!

Curl against wall
Hi David,
Been back in training for just over a week after a 3 month layoff due to unforseen circumstances.I Seem to has kept a reasonable amount of strength which I guess is the bonus of building it naturally in the first place and I'm now training hard to give a good account of myself at the BHSA championship. A curl against the wall challenge sounds good and I may even have a crack at the one hand bench but my dumbells only go to 60K so my goal over the next few weeks will be my inch.
This looks a good forum and I'm looking forward to getting involved.

Stew,
Bloody good to see you here!
Wondered where the hell you had gone.
Hope the probs weren't too bad, and if you fancy a chat give us a bell.
