Tried Arm Wrestling for the first time today - WOW

First impressions of arm wrestling – I love it!
The things I have found most striking are: -
-It is as much a social sport as a strength sport; I had a great laugh.
-A bit of technique goes a long way, every little bit of advice I was offered was instantly visible once I put it into practise.
-Speed is crucial – Today I learned that a good hit will often win you a match.
-For soft skinned faeries like me, prepare to have sore elbows.
-It is excellent although I can see (and feel) that injuries would be easy to pick up if you did not train sensibly.
-Especially liked the friendly atmosphere and lack of arrogance or competition...I will be doing more of it...
